fizz friday’s / sparkling saturday’s - June 1st, july 5th, august 3rd + september 13th, 2019.
6.30pm - 9pm at raimes vineyard, alresford £30p/p
I am SUPER excited about this gorgeous sunny, summer time series of yoga evenings. We will flow in our yoga practice either in the middle of the vineyard at Raimes, award winning english sparkling wines or in the beautiful Barn if the weather is a little squwelchy. As the sun begins to set + we release our day or our week we will be together with nature, fresh air + surround by tumbling fields allow ourselves to release and prepare for the weekend. Following our practice will enjoy a mini tour of the vineyard or talk with a tasting and glass or two of bubbles. Places are limited, £30 per person to include yoga, bubbles and refreshments. JUNE 21st 2019 * INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
On February 16th 2019 my close, dear, kind friend Kari Jo passed away. A blood clot Drs had told her not to worry about travelled to her heart + she died immediately. She leaves behind her daughter Arianna who is 12 years old + a community bereft by her untimely passing. Kari was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, always being so thoughtful towards others, whether buying the person behind her in Dunkin Donuts a coffee, volunteering with the local Police or coaching Arianna’s softball team, she touched so many people and at her service over 500 of her friends and family attended really attesting to her reach within her community and the lives of those who knew her.
To celebrate Kari + raise money for Arianna’s College fund I want to create a beautiful evening to bring together my amazing yoga community and I’m hosting my first Yoga Day event at The Bell House Dance Studio in Alton, Hampshire on FRIDAY JUNE 21st from 6.45pm - 9pm. We will flow for 90 minutes to tunes she and I used to dance to, don’t worry it won’t be too loud lol but there will be a carefully selected playlist of 90’s/00’s RnB + Hip Hop - pls don’t let that deter you lol. I’m creating refreshments afterwards inspired by Kari + her love of peanut butter balls + the peanut butter covered pretzels she used to make and send to me, there will also be yummy delights that don’t include peanuts available to munch :-) + afterwards we will sip Prosecco whilst we draw a Raffle I have lined up with awesome, very generous prizes!!! All donations + money raised going to Ariana.

I am absolutely in love with Restorative Yoga and my hot, power yoga self of a couple years past NEVER in a million years would have thought this is what I would love teaching….alas we have all lost the art of relaxation and hard as we try sometimes it’s about as possible as winning the lottery…so……I have devised this sumptuous evening workshop to ease us in to relaxing poses to enable us to soften in to ourselves in a safe environment where we can just ‘be’.
Restorative Yoga is a practice all about slowing down and giving our bodies and minds a chance to connect, de-stress, re-energise and find balance. We stretch greatly in to the first part of practice to work our muscles in to release and become ready for a series of poses we will hold for 5 - 10 minutes each using bolsters, bankers, pillows and yoga bricks for support……bliss…….accompanied by soft music, scents and finishing with delicious nourishing refreshments.
MENOPAUSE 101 - DATE TBC JaN 202o
I am teaming up with Yvonne Bishop Weston to run a yoga session specifically designed to assist in dealing with the side effects + symptoms of the menopause and following our session, Yvonne will discuss the nutritional aspects which can help alleviate symptoms and keep us on track.
